Select Janitorial has 5 key commitments that we run our business by. We know that by following these principles, our customers will be
happy with our services and the business will continue to serve and enhance the Chico community. Our 5 key commitments are:
Select Janitorial Services was founded in 1980 by Lino Ricci as a Janitorial and Carpet Cleaning Business in Chico, CA. Lino ran the business successfully until 2012 when he succumbed to a battle with cancer. Lino had created a very strong business foundation of high integrity and quality, which has been shown through the clientele Select has serviced and continues to service today. As young, motivated and energetic entrepreneurs, my wife and I were very attracted to this business because of the foundation that Lino had created yet we knew it had not reached its full potential and we had some qualities we could bring to the table to see the business further prosper. We have a passion for business, providing quality services and being a contributor to community enhancement. ~Jess Wills
As members of the Chico Chamber of Commerce, social organizations and local networking groups, Select Janitorial is very active in our local community and we enjoy being able to support Chico’s local organizations that can use our help. Through the daily connections we make, we are witnesses to some incredible leaders and organizations in Chico that are huge supporters of our community and we hope that we too, can grow to be a leader in the community, that our community can count on.
Karen Webb – Janitorial & Quality Control Supervisor
Karen has been with Select Janitorial for over 20 years. First hired as a janitor herself and then quickly took on the management position of the Janitorial Supervisor. Having been in the position herself, she knows exactly what is to be expected of a quality janitor and of quality janitorial work. She makes routine and unannounced visits to each account to make sure quality is maintained. She is also responsible for making sure that all Janitors have the supplies they need to efficiently complete their work. Karen is a take-no-gruff kind of supervisor, yet loves her employees and loves her job.
In Karen’s free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
Esther Fisher – Administrative Assistant
Esther is a local of Chico having lived here since 1982. She has been working in the janitorial industry for more than 15 years, of which 5 of those years, she put herself through college working as a janitor. Esther started with Select as a janitor in 2013 and quickly was promoted to an administrative staff position shortly after. As an experienced Janitor, she can easily help our customers and employees and understand their needs.
In her free time, Esther loves to go camping and hiking, crotchet, knit and most of all spending time with her 3 grandsons.
